Although the digital revolution has produced many amazing portraits, it has also brought many “photographers” into the business who are just not delivering the quality that people paying with hard-earned dollars deserve. Captured’s expertise delivers quality every time.
I have been a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) for the last six years, having earned the recognition from Professional Photographers of America (PPA), the largest governing body for professional photographers in the world. In January of this year, I attended the Imaging USA convention and received my Master of Photography degree, MPhotog. However, resting on one’s laurels is never “good enough” at Captured. We stay on top of the lightning-speed changes the digital age brings, continually updating our equipment, as well as our knowledge and techniques to bring the latest styles and products to our customers.
2009 will mark the 20th anniversary of Captured. During that time, Sheila Rutledge has been constantly honing her photography skills. Her award winning style has made her one of Dupage County’s busiest photographers. She began her interest in photography as a teen-ager. The youngest of 7 children she decided that without photography her family portrait history would skip the youngest child. Some of her first professional jobs included professional musicians and by then she was hooked. As she started a family of her own she saw the family cycle as one of the most interesting portrait subjects of all. With all of the babies in her family she is most at ease with children.
