Long-time customers already know that the secret to affordable portraits at Captured is Quick Takes. There’s no sitting fee, and although sessions are limited, you still receive the great quality you have come to expect. New for this year, we’ve added the popular outdoor session.
Mark the dates for upcoming QuickTakes sessions:
Saturday, June 20 - Appointments for this special QuickTakes outdoor session are going fast. Call now and then gather your family for a portrait session in our outdoor studio just as the summer flowers begin to bloom.
Monday, July 13 - This special is limited to children and features summer whites and colorful flowers with a special price.
Saturday, September 12 - It’s a school days QuickTakes, new for this year. Bring your elementary child’s school picture form to Captured. We’ll meet their low price and give you a memorable, Captured-style school portrait.

2009 will mark the 20th anniversary of Captured. During that time, Sheila Rutledge has been constantly honing her photography skills. Her award winning style has made her one of Dupage County’s busiest photographers. She began her interest in photography as a teen-ager. The youngest of 7 children she decided that without photography her family portrait history would skip the youngest child. Some of her first professional jobs included professional musicians and by then she was hooked. As she started a family of her own she saw the family cycle as one of the most interesting portrait subjects of all. With all of the babies in her family she is most at ease with children.
